Montauban, a pretty town on the banks of the Tarn, about an hour’s drive away. (There’s also a Décathlon!)

Rocamadour: a famous pilgrimage site. From a distance, the town looks like an eagle’s nest balanced on a cliff; a breathtaking sight; an hour and a half away by car
Toulouse, also known as “la ville rose”, is a large city with many attractions, particularly for shoppers (Galeries Lafayette), and is only two hours away by car. It can also be reached by train from Cahors.
